The Europa was really meant for Tottenham not Manchester United. Because if it was by performance, Manchester United beat Tottenham flawlessly. That will not be counted though because at the end of the very match what people care to know is the team that later scored goals more than the other team, not the team that had the best performance. What Tottenham knows is that from henceforth they won't be addressed as a trophyless team that hasn't won a trophy for long as that is no longer their position as they have performed better than teams that didn't win a trophy this season or even qualify for champions league

This was quite a crucial moment for Son because this title made him so excited and they deserved to celebrate the success. When Man United used to compete in any competition, I always had no hesitation in favoring them as winners. But yeah that was a golden era for them that is long gone. Amorim made a mistake with a different strategy that he implemented, which actually made Manchester United's performance not better in this match, it is very unfortunate even though Manchester United is quite favored, they even forgot their focus in the Premier League just to focus more on the Europa League competition but they failed.
