How i lost everything because of the gambling, now i quit but its too late

I got so much support that i havent dreamed about, i know some or most of the comments come here just because people must make some posts to get paid for the signature they have… as i said im not new here si i know how things work, but i feel like some of you guys really wrote from the heart. i dont want to beg or something, but im currently in bed, i feel like i dont want to go down , before they will sell my house they will stop my electricity if you imagine…. Many persons have lost their lives to gambling addiction because they were unable to stop themselves, but since you have been able to do so, I want you to know something that whatever you have lost that is not your life, you are capable of getting it back as long as you have recognized your errors and have the determination not to repeat them.

I understand your situation. I have friends who have reached their bottom, and it's an awful feeling; friends are turning you down and disowning you.
This is the worst nightmare of every gambler who has money to spend on gambling, even if you have a lot of money, if you cannot control your addiction, it's a matter of time before that money is gone.
So, what you're advising, I will also recommend to every gambler to quit gambling if you're the kind of person who cannot control your emotions, find a way to do it before it's too late.

You just have to be strong, such things do happen but some people luckily get back on their feet after a long time fall. I can imagine what you are going through right now, the trauma and the rest. Things don't easily get back to normal when you have finally become wealthy and well respected and but all of a sudden things crash. Isn't this anyone's typical story? Maybe a detail or 2 changed in terms of job employee/employer but could be the same story for nearly anyone. Crypto hasn't really crashed TBH, it might fluctuate from 120k-110k or whatever but it always recovers. Gambling is where it can really go good or bad though. Just take it 1 day at a time man, things can turn around fast in this world.

Well, in the body of this post, I read what you had to say from the beginning to the end, but I didn't see gambling as the cause of your problem, aside from the mention of the gambling issue in the topic and the concluding part about staying away from gambling. Of course, unless I missed/skipped it at a point. Is gambling your real problem or what? I'm curious about this. How did it happen? How consistent were you gambling? And what was your highest bet that got it this bad?

I once had quit for real after losing day after day because of gambling addiction and one of those days I said to myself, this is not going to happen again, that led me to delete my account into one of my main casinos that I used to play at the time. Lately the same has happened to me in another casino which led me to believe that it is not the casino fault themselves but the provider, the same provider managed to get the best out of my rage again and so I click again that self-exclusion button, it was only for 24 hours but I soon plan to extend it to one week, one month and then indefinitely in the end, not intending to open a new account as in most casinos I have excluded myself, best thing one person can do.

This is the best sentence in your thread, many women even they've get married and have a baby want to break up just because their husband are in debt. Since your wife ever life comfortable when you're in good financial and she didn't left you during financial difficulty, you already found the right person.

At least with your small family will encourage you to stand up and build back the financial condition.

Since you're in debt, obviously you have to stop it until you've able to fulfill all of your family needs.

After reading all your posts, a phrase came to my mind, "It's no use crying over spilled milk." I don't know whether it fits here or not, but one thing I am sure of is that I can feel your pain for real. I also lost many things, but not because of gambling, it was for another reason. I like it when you made it clear that you still got the hope alive, it would do you great good if you never quit, the advantage you've over first timers is experience and you'll surely find your way back up pretty faster. A person who is about to give up and frustrated by his misfortune will look for a place where he can have a little hope to grow again, gambling has the opportunity to bring him back with a fortune then that person will think that I will bet it to get that fortune and really his obsession is a big win which is a bad expectation brought to gambling.

All hope is not lost since you have your family with you. Since you were able to overcome addiction, it means that whatever, goal you determine to achieve is possible. Some people got addicted and abandoned by their wife and children but you still gate yours. You only learned in a hard way. The most important thing is that you have gotten your life back.

It's never too late to quit, this is something you can do at any point when you feel like gambling is causing more damage than good. With the harm it has caused you imagine if you still continue to gamble without control the damage is only going to be more increased. I'm sorry to hear about your experience, but I also experienced something bad from gambling a few years ago. If from your story, what I experienced may not be half of it, but it already made me feel like life is so hard. We can easily become addicted to gambling, but if can't control themselves can't easily stop the addiction. In that year, to stop gambling, I decided not to keep any of my own money on my wallet. Whatever money I earned, I gave it to my wife, and didn't ask for any money from her to prevent me from gambling. of the desire to gamble still in my head, but because the money wasn't in my wallet, I couldn't act on it. And it save me from something more bad happens.

If the loss has affected family relationships, it has reached a normal limit. He must stop and improve by reducing his gambling, or better yet, quitting gambling for the long term. However, the problem isn't easy if he's already addicted to gambling and wants to stop. From saying "crypto crash," I believe you don't mean the entire crypto, but you are pointing at a few altcoins that you invested in that dumped so horribly to the point that you lost more than you could afford.

I have read everything you wrote and I feel sorry for you and I wish never to make such kind of mistake because it's an experience that is a very painful, a harsh experience that I won't even wish my enemy, how can someone suffer to grow wealth and then become poor again? The person will just become a laughing being in the society, you will even be ashamed to look at the faces of people that believed in you. Any body that can not handle gambling without being addicted should just quite, if you can not even handle it, don't not involve yourself at all.
