Yeah, that's always the key problem.  You need people playing in order to get people to play.

As well as getting people to play, you need to stop scaring them off.

I was at a full 9-seat ring game earlier. Something weird happened, and one-by-one over half the players started showing up as "disconnected". I found myself sat out with "wait for big blind" auto-checked. Half the table sat out, a few people left their seats, and the game fell apart.

It's critical to iron out whatever is causing these random disconnections because nobody wants to have their hand ruined by technical troubles.

+1 no one wants the technical issues.

Tonight ST7 implemented a fix for the software issue causing the disconnections.  We are still very young, and we'll fix every issue over time.  I have no issue stating that this may happen again before it's fully put to bed, because I feel being open and honest with players is why many players like SwC.  If there is ever equity loss in a technical error I promise to make it right.

Someone on 2+2 claiming a straight flush in the back did not let him repeat FL.  Probably not a bug, but just checking.

Heh, I rematched an OFC HUSnG and it changed the fantasyland rules, T1327 was QQ and T1330 is KK. Funny bug.

Today there was a unique 25 chip PLO MTT.  I'd love it if there were non-NL MTTs constantly, but could you throw up at least one a day?  Have it be in the same time slot, same buy in, same guarantee, but just rotate the game every day.  You could put in deuce/o8/ofc/12game/DC and of course horse on Sunday.

You don't get to play FL if you (or all your opponents) already gambled all your chips this hand.

The site isn't at all clear about how many chips you've gambled per hand by default, although glitch posted earlier today about a way of getting it to be a little more forthcoming about it.

Note that FL is considered to be an extension of the current hand, not a new hand. So if you already doubled up on a hand, you can't get to FL no matter what.

Playing a freeroll and crashed on final table after updating my client.

I'm guessing that they've hired some .NET C# developers and that's why they ended up with a windows only product that only a few people (who don't mind having their privacy raped by MSCORP) can use.

If this is indeed the case one has to wonder why they don't try to port to Linux using mono C# compiler (probably because they used the Windows graphics objects they'd have to rewrite the windowing and presentation for GDK or something portable).

It's a little sad, so much work and anticipation for the new software, then it turns out to be only windows.  Then everything else crashes and burns at the same time basically making SWC DOA.  Maybe a doctor can revive it, but it's seeming more and more doubtful as they seem to be focused on fixing their windows client rather than making a portable client (HTML5!) that everyone could use.

Any news on when the old tournament called Krillrolls will be back again. That was something I used to look forward to each week.

I think they should be coming sometime this month. I remember reading one of the posts about a week ago that said it should be in 2 weeks.
