Octocoin 888 is dead. If you want to try to do something with it you can. Nobody is stopping you. I'm sure you can take over the blockchain with enough hash and fork it. However, you will never have 88,888,888 as the total amount of coins because the community here burned 19594994.11240185 Octocoin and were given the same amount of OCTO which is a Counterparty.io asset that runs on the Bitcoin blockchain. There are not any exchanges for this Octocoin so mining it at this point is pointless.
