I guess one thing’s clear, if you’re a businessman, you don’t want to mess with Trump. He can get you into legal trouble or damage your reputation. And remember, Trump isn’t just the president but he’s also a billionaire. That’s why I really don’t understand why Elon chose to pick a fight he probably can’t win.

Human rights in the United States are very high, Trump can impact Elon in the short term but it is not easy to destroy or damage his reputation. As long as Elon speaks out for the Democratic Party, the Democratic Party will protect him at all costs. Neither side could ignore such a close ally, the richest man in the world and one of the most influential.
Not to mention, hindering Elon's career will also seriously affect the development of the United States when the companies and fields that Elon is developing all play an important role in the economy as well as the technological development of the country. Even if Trump wanted to do it, the Republicans and his allies would not let it happen, the national interest must come first, not personal grudges.

Trump is also a billionaire but compared to his assets, Trump is nothing compared to Elon.

It might all seem like political theater but up to now they have both tried to avoid criticizing each other, but today that all seems to have changed. In the last few hours they have been hammering each other on Twitter / Truthsocial and it is making for great entertainment, but it could have large economic repercussions.

It all seemed to start when Musk began saying this "Big Beautiful Bill" as Trump calls it, which increases spending drastically, was a "disgusting abomination", "shame on those who voted for it" and "we [will] fire all the politicians who betrayed the American people" in next year's midterm elections.", which escalated the next day to "KILL the BILL".

This put him at direct odds with Trump who has channeled all his political might into this project and it is his first major attempt at actually utilizing the actual democratic process of passing a bill through Congress and then the Senate where elected representatives from both parties can vote on it. It has squeezed through Congress which lines it up for the Senate next, which may be even harder to arrange now Elon is threatening to counter it with pressure on Senators, who are facing mid term elections at the end of next year. Money talks and if Elon backs opposing candidates like he backed Trump (running a $1 million dollar daily voter lottery in a key state), then he could hand power back to the Democrats.

This is not actually a good thing. Both of them should have some considerations before they speak. Even though many people might don't like them but they are someone who none could ignore. One is the president of the most powerful nation in the world while other is the richest person in the world. And the problem is one is very arrogant and short thinker while another thinks he's greater than any leader in this world.
This could in short term boost Tesla sales as some crybabies are willing to buy anything Trump dislikes but in long run, the US would fall behind in the technological race specially the new space race. Elon Musk too would have difficulty running his business staying in the US.
The tariff bargaining by Trump is not very best strategy and its already being seen in market. This also tells us Trump doesn't have very bright advisors. The best thing for them and the whole world is to reconcile.

As long as he doesn't sell his shares, their value will recover and even increase over time. Just like during the covid crisis, his fortune fell by more than $100 billion and then recovered. So I'm not surprised that his fortunes have temporarily declined.

The fields Elon is involved in are diverse, but the most important are electric vehicles and aerospace. In which Tesla is the world market leader as well as the leading representative of the US electric vehicle industry to compete with BYD (China) as well as other companies from other countries. SpaceX is also dominating the aerospace and space exploration industry, and represents the United States to compete with other powers.

It can be said that Elon plays an extremely important role in the development of technology in the United States.

What we see is really crazy. Life is really funny but it's terrible that the fate of millions of humans is into mentally ill people's hands. One is autistic and another one is narcissist.
