Bobsag, how will this affect MinerSource and their ability to supply the X1's? Are you taking a shipment sans LCDs to ship out or waiting for them to come in? I understand this news has only just come to hand but would like to hear from you  |

minersource are not supplying any x1's they had the shipment held to be full spec x1's now they don't have a fucking lcd say enough doesn't it.

And if the X3 ever does ship, I really can't see how they can afford to give proper compensation; they'll 100% go bankrupt.
Not if they've been mining them all this time. They would have plenty of cash to provide good compensation and maybe even enough for us to recoup our losses. They win, we go away bruised but can't complain! I agree...couple months ago they could not give us more than 3TH because they would bankrupt but now they convince us they will provide proper compensation(in comparison with the competition)...HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE???THEY ARE MINING AND SCREWING WITH US!!!EVERY WEEK MORE AND MORE IDIOTIC UPDATE PROVES IT.. |

It is pure lies there is no way they went through 5 failed LCD comapnies, the truth is they are buying time and have been since Feb. It has been long enough time to start shipping the miners BA, this joke has gone on long enough.
+1 and those lies in updates telling us-u are not going too get these until we get more money so we can compensate and earn some... |

I really feel for bobsag3, MinerSource and of course, us. All bobsag3 was trying to do is run a company and sell a product from a supplier.... it's now turned into a massive headache for him and his company. Wouldn't want to be in his shoes that's for sure |

It make one wonder why Minersource had an order of X-1s returned to BA last week to 100% completed as ordered if only now the control boards are working,no LCDs and no mention of the plastic cases at all. Is BA bullshitting their resellers as well  ,can't find that post where Bobsag3 had confimation that BA would have their entire backlog of X-1s shipped in 2-3 weeks,or my cut and paste of it on ecointalk  |

Seems naive to believe this. No proof like tracking number / pics from BA logistic department etc. Obviously just a claim (unneeded lie) to calm down ppl that preordered. |

1. Minion
Received news from Global Foundries: they are 8 days ahead of schedule and will ship the wafers next week
Have discussed and received great support from our packaging company, we’re looking forward to receive the chip.
2. X3 hashboard – final design
We have received the X3 hashboard sample, 2 days later than expected.
Pending assembly
3. X3 backplane – final design
Adjusted parts based on feedback from the case
Reviewing design, will send to factory tomorrow.
4. X1 hashboard – final design
PCB has been assembled
5. X1 backplane – final design
Completed, sent to factory
6. Control board – final design
Waiting for LCD + touchscreen factories
7. X3 case
has been corrected based on all the parts
plastic parts have been sent to factory for review
8. X1 case
has been designed, pending review

I will still be receiving my first batch next week, I have elected to receive the entire batch without the LCD in order to get them ASAP. Screens will be received and distributed after the fact those who want it.

Do you have any idea about whether they will have the plastic case or the metal one? Metal. I never advertised or stated the X1s would have wifi or anything of the sort, so I am full steam ahead in getting the X1s out to customers ASAP. Most dont care for the LCDs as stated here often enough. |

Completely agree, don't care about LCD (possibly want in future if it ever gets fixed for resell purposes) or WiFi (LAN is better anyway), but my concern is stacking of units, which was and still is advertised, but David has said will not be possible with metal case. Has this been fixed or will we need tons of space to spread them out? When I visited I was shown the render for the stacker, looked pretty awesome. I dont know the current status of it, I will check. |
