that's often the nature of events like this. the market hypes the news rather than the event itself. as a matter of fact, we got a really nice pump last month when bakkt announced the launch date.

i probably should have seen this coming.

that's probably the key. wall street likes to quietly accumulate until supply is gone, then mark up the price.

Yeah HairyMaclairy's thought was that on launch and few days after the price would drop sharp exactly like this.... not to massive deep but somewhere here
Why? people remember CME-CBOE release end what followed after from there, so on BAKKT launch there would be some uncertainty in the market to causes us a drop and of-course a bit of fear that sharpens that drop....

But he's thinking where that the market drop fast and hard but not to deep, just something like what we experiencing now..... In he's opinion people will be thinking that it wasn't that bad at at and a sweet bounce should be uppon us Hoping for that one "Mic=Always in for a BOUNCE"

Then BAKKT can mature and ...... Oooh Yeah Octobre should be a good month as well

He didn't expect a to high price or breaking 13.8K yet but maybe near 11+ or something if I was listening good....

Though this is only good reasonable thinking, what I think got some good point (No one knows what will happen BTC can be a weird beast at some times)

I think it can be compared to the latest Litecoin halving. Definitely pumped by the news.

I think that halving "effect" (inflation decrease) is already priced in at the time of halving. Because it is something known, scheduled.

Litecoin is not bitcoin.  So sometimes problematic to even attempt to conceptualize them in similar dynamics - even though some litecoin bagholders like to ponder in such fantasies.

Your comment just made me think of something. I don't know if you usually include a deadline to claiming a prize, maybe it's something to consider as a rule if you didn't consider it before. In case a winner doesn't answer your pm for a given period of time, the prize could go to the next closest guess and so on.
