Yes, you have to take risks because if you make obvious picks, you will end up competing in guessing the exact number of goals that all teams will score, with 5-6 participants. I may be wrong but it's not very profitable and considering how many yellow caps I've won my opinion has some justification 
Good luck to Liverpool, I hope they have enough sporting anger to take revenge on Everton for the draw in the first half of the tournament.

Maybe in the next round I'll take a risk with some of the teams taken - some of them are definitely favorites.

Oi oi, submissions sent, sorry and thank you (for me forgetting and you reminding). Such a busy week I've been having my mind away from most forum things (almost impossible to do). No tips from me, I got lazy and picked the guys I feel either have been getting goalfests, or have one due soon. Bad luck to all you gentlemen!

Cheers for the tag, would have forgotten. These 2 rounds are really close to each other.

I removed 1 'safe' team from my picks to try and find that small differential this round vs Saint-loup, but there are a few teams ready to surprise in this round.

Real and Barca will be everybody's picks, and at least 6-7 teams are worthy picks for the remaining 3 positions.

Liverpool last scored more than 2 goals against Everton in 21, I would be surprised if they scored a lot. To be honest I expected 4 goals from City alone, but when the news about Haaland's injury came out I had already made my picks.
Overall it was a good round for me, losing to Barcelona's anomalous result was not a mistake but a calculated risk.

Picked them instead of Bayern, I hoped Saint-loup would not. But to be fair, I think I have an even better differential.
He still went with Bayern, I went with Newcastle. I expect +1 for me here, our other teams are the same.

It seems that Mainz, which score a lot against the last place in the Bundesliga, which concede the most, was the obvious choice  
I am surprised that many chose Barcelona and Bayern, which play against strong teams and will definitely not be stressed out before the Champions League games.
I thought I was the only one who would choose City, but there are 3 other people who are expecting a lot of goals from the Manchester derby.

Ahhh man, it was just to near to be a good decission avoiding Munich, but the red card and that late goal in the very alst moments of the game give to all of those who selected B.Munich a good or healthy 3 goals.

Re why Barca... well, it doesn't matter if they're facing Real, Atletico (they've already scored 4 against these two this season), or Rayo -- their ability to score goals seems reliant less on the opponent's defence but on their own form. And wow, their current form? Scary mfs. I honestly think they, of any team now, are a treble favourite, and have been since UCL KO phase.

Wow, will anybody score any goals in this round? I can't believe that Liverpool turned out to be a better pick than most.

Valencia looked destined for La Segunda not so long ago, now they took hugely important points from Madrid at the Bernabeu.
I like them as a club and would be happy if they avoided the drop, these points might be the deciding ones - they have a 7-point gap now.

If somebody bet on Barca and Real not winning - they would really be rich now
