Short answer, we don't know. The only updates that have been given in the last month have been updates along the lines of, "we are on schedule or slightly ahead", but even these have run out in the past 2 to 3 weeks or so. So, we could very possibly be on schedule, but not be being given any updates and the units will ship on time and everyone will be happy and praise BA for being awesome, etc. or... eventually BA will say that they are behind schedule and everyone will be really upset and mad that they waited so long to do so and pledge to never buy from them again and seek legal action, etc. But I think that about sums up where the customers are at this point. Yea pretty much. Its a hurry up and wait type situation rite now.

Even if they do end up shipping on schedule, I don't think I'd buy from them again unless they offer a really good repeat buyer incentive. Simply because of the terrible customer experience..constantly checking here or on ecointalk to see if there has been a new forum post and nothing.. while Cointerra spoils their customers with high resolution pictures and detailed descriptions on what's going on every week.
seriously? all that matters is when we get our devices and if they do what they promised us. anything else is just marketing and wont earn you more BTC.

Would you rather have a product on time and within promised spec (remains to be seen of course, but still plausible for BA), or a month late and 20% below spec, but with high res pictures along the way?

Why wouldn't I buy from Cointerra next time? They're actually manufactured in the US and they care more about their customers while BA just gives me stress and anxiety and uncertainty. We have yet to see an actual picture of even the damn cases. The only thing we've seen are the heatsinks. so for you marketing is more important thant the device they will create. fine, u lost me... enjoy being a consumer and dreaming of marketing/advertisement (sarcasm).

There's something seriously wrong when blackarrow is online and checking the forums, but hasn't provided any updates in nearly two months.
Last post: December 09, 2013 Last active: Today
I'll remind everyone of this post on Feb 25 (or sooner if they announce their delays) when BA is officially late.

I'd rather just have my units just show up unexpectedly BA has the ONLY 100GH units you can buy for $375,EVERYONE else set the entry level WAY TO HIGH dollarwise...so I'll buy more as I earn BTC,until I reach my goal of hashrate

Ha, you all should see Alpha Technology updates. They would put Cointerra releases to shame.

On a possible fun note... The site is offline right now. Hopefully for an update? Regardless I have to agree with the statements that they are not obligated to provide detailed updates. Still it would be nice to know if they still anticipate Feb 24 as "the date." However nothing has happened to make me think otherwise. All this worry from people is self manufactured stress at this point in time. People are throwing in Cointerra as proof of this or that but in all reality Cointerra's production time frames really have no indication as to what we should expect from Black Arrow. I will just hang in and pass final judgement on Black Arrow on their ability to deliver the product they are building.
At this point the company that does the best at delivering their gear as close to specs as possible and as on time as possible will become a leader in the industry for future gear. KNC has delivered, CoinTerra is delivering.. if Black Arrow can deliver on time then I think they will be at the top of the charts.

CLOSED Sorry, the store is temporarily closed for maintenance. We expect to reopen within 1 hour (19:00 HK, 11:00 London, 05:00 Wyoming) Ok, but it's been more than an hour. Did someone forget to take the sign down?

Website down for CNY? rofl. All joking aside, it's curious that what they're changing requires an under construction message.

any proof this is not a scam yet? who received something? We are about a month away from the projected shipping date so no, no one has revived anything yet. Im getting so tired of hearing everyone's speculations at this point. Maybe everyone from BA is in a parallel reality and they are communicating from the astro plain.

+1 All ASIC's have been late (2 weeks-3 months),not as much as BFL was late (6-8 months minimum) at least So I'm ready for a week to month delay. Not saying that I'd be happy, but will muddle through it Looking forward to an update though

I got my BitFury August kit on 5th of September due to labor day weekend delay in shipping. The 25Gh kit has been hashing ever since at 47Gh/s and paid for 2 X3's.

Very disappointed. I sort of knew it but wanted to give them the benefit of doubt.... Batch1 will coincide with the delivery of the Batch2.... blarrrr
Everyone over-promise but under delivers.
------------------------------------------- We have to inform you that our schedule to manufacture and assemble the system has been disrupted and we are unable to make delivery of the Batch 1 Minion ASIC chip on the initial scheduled date (end of February). We are now expecting to dispatch all Batch 1 orders on 1st of May 2014.
Please be re-assured we are confident that we have tried our best to accomplish our initial ambitious targets. However, we came to the conclusion that it is in the best interest of our customers to delay shipping in order to ensure that the product provides the best-possible user experience.
Without this delay we would have achieved 1.5W/Ghash which would have meant that our chip would not have been competitive at all.
We have now finalized the design process using our newly improved code and will start manufacturing the chip (tape out) in the next few days.
We are happy to announce that Black Arrow Software’s products remain on target for being the best in their class for power consumption. We confirm that our latest improved design has the following technical specifications:
·0.75w/Ghash on TT corner @ 25C which is expected to run at 120Ghash/sec.
·SS corner will be 0.6w/ghash and will run at 100Ghash.
·A further underclocking and underpower should be possible and should yield 80Ghash @ 0.5W/ghash. However, please note that this is not guaranteed to work stable.
Please note, that a further push for improvement in the optimization process would have guaranteed further delays for at least 1-2 months.
It is no secret to us that the Bitcoin mining process is proving to be more and more difficult every day. To compensate our loyal customer for the unforeseen delay of in delivering our miners for batch 1, we are happy to offer free extra hashing power which consists of 25% of your purchased hashing power from our Rent-Some-Minions cloud program for 4 months.
The account for the tape-out has been settled in full and we are confident that the delivery will be completed shortly.
We are taking all the necessary measures and positive actions to expedite delivery to you as soon possible and we are confident that we have the resources to be successful.
Please note:
·We estimate that the delivery for the Batch1 will coincide with the delivery of the Batch2
·The delivery of Batch2 remains unchanged
·The one-off offer presented above is open to the customers who placed orders for Batch1
Sincerely, The Black Arrow Software Team ----------------------
