What's needed in some of the platform KYC-verification is your international passport, Drivers licence and other valuable passport,  which in your country you present some of them to police more often, so what are we hiding not to verify or done our documentation to were we put our money, except that person have another agenda to gambling platform that will make the person not verify he or her account. Doesn't verification demand for your bank details or your landed properties? The answer is no.

KYC is mainly to protect the platform, from money laundering accusation, and scam, fraudulent activity support accusation from government. They do it for their platform, not for users, you are wrong.

However I don't complain about KYC on any platform, because I have full freedom to use their platform, or ignore it. With free of choice, it is hilariously if I accept their ToS, KYC policy but later I turn my face with complain about it. It's very annoying and I see it's only acceptable if you joined a platform that did not request KYC, and later they changed their policy to have KYC mandate. You can complain about it with hope that they will halt or change their policy, but if they won't change it, you can use their given window time to withdraw your money and leave.

I agree, it can work well for prevention of fraud but it's not used for that purpose mainly if I'm not wrong. The ones who do basic fraud like using multiple accounts to abuse bonus can do that with short amounts and they won't need to complete KYC to withdraw the money, however most casinos do have advanced cheat detection features these days and that's why they can easily detect such cheaters and freeze their accounts.

Well, I still believe that KYC is the only way to prevent money laundering for the casinos and it's now also mandatory on most centralized exchanges. However, it's something that privacy enthusiasts doesn't like but they can't do anything as it's getting implemented on most platforms. just because you have nothing to hide does not mean it's okay for your personal information to be exposed. if your id or passport gets leaked online and your identity is stolen and used for fraud, good luck dealing with that mess.

When verifying kyc document they have to give photos too which should be the same and sometimes when they think something misuse they may ask for video verification. I think KYC should be stopped and kyc document should be asked to those who are suspicious and also they should verify by video call instead of providing photo document.
