What has been the SWC standard response in the past when this happens? 1st time I've been caught in a tournament when the site got nailed.

Yeah, I was also in the Big BTC when I got disconnected over an hour ago. Haven't been able to get through on the client or connect to the website since.

What has been the SWC standard response in the past when this happens? 1st time I've been caught in a tournament when the site got nailed. I'm assuming they would refund everyone's buy-in, even players that busted before they were disconnected. It seems like the only fair thing to do. You can't just refund only the players that were still playing in the tourneys.

The site gets to keep it? I don't think so, that would be complete BS.

What you're suggesting is an ICM chop (chop up the prize pool to the remaining players based on their chip stack). What about players who were having connection issues but were still in the tournament before everyone became disconnected?

The BigBTC still running is a bit concerning to me. You'd think they'd cancel it or at least pause it. Something at any rate. Once the chips start hitting peoples accounts I'm concerned I won't get refunded.

I'm just as concerned as you. If people can't log back into the site and just blind out, then they should be reimbursed for the entire buy in if they are going to allow the tournament to continue. Scrolling down it happened to at least 6, which is pretty significant.

1) we will take a look at the connectivity issues during BIG BTC. email [email protected] if you feel you were unfairly affected. 2) I took a dissapointing 16th for $1800 in the $1k redrock. $40k+ was up top / close / dealt 99 v kk on 337 flop and 99 v jj to bust so whatev / fun time / i think i played it pretty solid / +$800 fiat / worse has happened / if N. Korea heard me complain...

I completely agree with this idea.
However, we still aren't particularly experienced at this and every situation is unique, we haven't done this many thousands of times like a restaurant. So inevitably we get to some point where it looks like it will only be an hour or so, we say "just a few hours" and then learn that we were completely wrong.
And in case anyone hasn't realized, Micon isn't actually stopping these bad packets himself, he only gets what info techs give.
We could forgo estimates, but we think they have some value even if they can't be very accurate.
Wait....WHAT? Thanks for ruining my image of Micon standing at the edge of the digital universe, thumb up, finger extended in the form of buddy jesus as bad packets bounce off of his flowing white robe.......................

Yup. Same. Whenever there is a random hater on twitter, or a guy of any sort questioning SwC integrity, I tell them to look at this 1M+ view'd thread showing our entire history since when Freemoney posted "hey look I tried science" a few yrs ago. Rational thinkers can plainly see we have made right every wrong and have acted as honorably as we can in all situations. I don't ever feel the need to respond to random hating because we have this record on bitcointalk and it certainly welcomes all grievances.

From what I have read, if you don't have a verified email address linked to the account, they will not respond to you.
They might, it's worth a shot anyway. Good luck, hope you get your money. Thanks man. Nothing so far, will update if I hear anything back from them. Read so much about it being a great site shame I can't even get to play one hand. I at least deserve an explanation. The account seems to be locked. I log in and then it asks for login details again and says bad login. There was speculation about other posters who made similar complaints that they were colluding, advertising on seals forums/threads. I have done neither so I would love to hear the explanation for this.

In fact msg me personally if it doesn't
