You should dice away that .1 oh wait you can't the staking system is gone for a few days to punish us.
Apparently gone with the money too. If he was going to shut it down in some kind of butthurt temper tantrum with nothing to do with 90% of the people with deposits there, least he could have done was return the money first. Sure is a lot of that happening lately.

Recently, there have been a large amount of scams on Seals with Clubs. In light of several recent arguments involving the Web of Trust and Deceit, and as a sociological experiment, we're gonna shut this down for a few days. If you love it, let us know. If you hate it, let us know. If you sent chips to bet, or if bet owes you chips, don't worry, you'll get them in a day or two at worst. http://sealsdeals.info/I have like 300 chips on credit with bet, and not worried at all But yeh, I guess refunding first would have been better especially if someone really needs it. I believe last night there were like 3 or 4 scams, which created a discussion around bet/WOT so the shutdown is probably an immediate reaction to that. I'm not sure, I was sleeping that time. Besides that, the whole WOT discussion has been held many times before too of course. I assume we can see in a week that the shutdown of whole bet is not the ideal solution and bet will be back. People should just use WOT as a small indication and not "solid proof for trust".

Yeah, I'm not really worried anyway (despite the general rule that any service that goes down goes down for good). I probably wouldn't have even noticed it without it being discussed here. It's just petty and spiteful and I certainly had nothing to do with any of this bullshit.

I lost 1BTC on the website, I feel terrible. 2.7BTC lost in a month; I have 0.1BTC left
I got a color against a color on an unpaired board and an other similar bad beat
I feel it is fixe.d on big games but it could obv been just bad luck, I don't intend on playing on sealwithclubs again, I should have play the roulette on PrimeDice, it feels the same
You should go play at Bovada...that way when you post this fixed BS, you will have company. Why is it fixed when you lose and you are a great player when you win?

Micon, I've always played on the web client and I looked into downloading the client today. My anti virus flagged it as unsafe. Do you know why this could be? I get that a lot of others use the client just wanted to see if you knew why it might be flagged and automaticaly removed.

What antivirus software? I have Sophos and it doesn't say anything derogatory about it.

In response to SealsDeals.info & the bet-bot in SwC chat being down, I would like make the following statements:
1) I think the decision to do so was childish and unprofessional.
2) I am personally embarrassed that users have coins stuck in the "credit" part of bet, with only the following msg to explain when their funds will become available again: "If you sent chips to bet, or if bet owes you chips, don't worry, you'll get them in a day or two at worst."
In response to this, I have asked ST6 not to allow any withdraws from bet at this time.
3) I hope very much that someone makes a competing staking site. I make myself fully available to consult for free or post publicly my thoughts on trust systems and the other tricky parts.

Is WOT still operable?

Is WOT still operable? no. the operators took the site offline with little warning. I am truly hoping another staking site comes up soon, this sudden shut down with customer funds in "Credit" area leaves a bad taste in my mouth, and while I want to stake people on SwC in MTTs I don't think i'll be using bet or sealsdeals anymore.

I'd ban them at least temporarily if I were in charge. But I am a butt. It's just not cool to mess with peoples money. Especially at a time when BTC is under such stress... What Sealsdeals did was break the trust of their users, plan and simple. And then they had the gall to post a Gox style message "Dont worry... we are gone, but your coins are all safe". Micon was spot on. Perhaps SWC will forgive this, but I think it was a ridiculously terrible thing to do. On another note:

This is what pissed me off the most. When it was down with that amateur hour msg, all I could think about were users with 800 chips on SwC and 100 of them in the bet bot #credit waiting to fire on their friends and associates' MTTs. Bet going intentionally down and posting a Magicaltux-like msg on their site holding player coins made me physically sick. I had to go AFK for a few hours yesterday so I didn't skype-tilt on glitch anymore. That being said, a few statements: 1) glitch I was pissed off an unprofessional over Skype yesterday. Sorry for the wall of anger. I think it would have been better directed at Ender, but after he made the move to shut it off, he made a similarly cowardly move to be unreachable directly after. Glitch is an asset to the bitcoin poker community. He loves the shit as much as I do it seems. #Brofist. 2) Even with SealsDeals back, I am still 100% available to help any team wishing to create something competing. The SwC staking market is under no exclusive contract. If someone builds something better I'm sure the community will vote with their feet. 3) I believe an apology to the community is needed by Ender. Regardless of what he hoped to accomplish by doing this, it was wrong, it pissed off players that pay coins to use SD, and did irreparable damage to Ender / SealsDeals integrity. Now we know if we choose to use SealsDeals, they may simply without any technical reason take the site offline and hold our coins arbitrarily. This is not the type of service I can see myself using in the future. Too many unkowns for me. I am personally going to withdraw all my coins from bet bot and stop using them. Yes this will mean I'm no longer staking massively as I have been. When a system I can trust comes along, I'll use it. 4) WoT - if you guys want a *real* WoT that you can T, then we need to start at square one. All sites that do staking could use a crowd-sourced real WoT system that makes sense, not one that I can easily think of ways to game it instantly. Let's start that discussion in a new, more productive thread

Not sure what all this stuff about bets and sealsdeals is, but one question:
Is it safe to still use SwC for poker? I'm not sure if this sealsdeals is run by the same people, I just want to play poker but am getting the feeling SwC is shady?
Please let me know.
